 hey hey! my name is Steven (jonathan) Higgs. i've been playing bass for almost four years now, and i have plans to someday play in a huge Christian band, but that's obviously in God's hands. I started my musical career at a very young age when i'd sit in my living room and listen to Elvis records with my mom and we'd sing all our favorite classics. unfortuantely though, that's as far as i ever got with my voice, so i started taking piano lessons when i was in grade 5 (10years old), and i did that for a little over three years, when i decided that i wanted to move on to something else. that's when i picked up my first bass guitar. i bought a Jay Turser bass and began playing on that. i started taking lessons a month after getting my guitar from the greatest guitar player in the world! i've been involved in numerous worship teams within my Church and i even tried to make it with a band, who just recently decided that we were getting anywhere (http://jeremiahscomplaint.dmusic.com) i miss those guys, good thing we're still super tight and we still enjoy playing together!
now i'm "bass"ing my bass playing on home recordings and i'm still working with a million worship teams, which is at times tiring, but in the long run, it's all for a much better cause!
